Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer (Full-stack) with strong expertise in React and Java to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling high-quality products across the frontend and backend. The role requires someone who can take ownership of features end-to-end, make sound technical decisions, and work closely with product, design, QA, and other engineering teams. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant ownership and an opportunity to solve

challenging problems at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Own features end-to-endfrom understanding requirements and technical design to development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend components using React.
• Design and develop robust backend services, REST APIs, and business logic using Java/Spring Boot.
• Work with relational databases such as MySQL and write efficient queries and data models.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues across the application stack.
• Write clean, testable, maintainable code and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions as the product and engineering ecosystem evolves.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause analysis and preventive solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to raising the overall engineering quality of the team.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development.
• Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of MySQL or other relational databases, including query optimization.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
• Understanding of application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, or distributed systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to take ownership and drive problems to closure.
• Good understanding of trade-offs between speed, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
