Senior Software Engineer (Digital Innovation)

Key Responsibilities: • Problem Solving: Apply cutting-edge frameworks and critical thinking to dissect and solve complex problems faced by our customers. • Innovation & Prototyping: Design and develop high-impact Proofs of Concept (POCs) that demonstrate the value of new technologies, from initial technical validation to showcasing business viability. • Architecture and Design: Develop scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions using AWS services. • System Integration: Design and implement integrations between systems and various data sources, including SAP, ensuring seamless data flow between enterprise systems and applications. • Data Pipeline Development: Create robust data pipelines that feed AI models with high-quality data from multiple Siemens organizations. • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements. • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that arise. • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to understand challenges, define project scopes, and build scalable end-to-end solutions. Qualifications: • Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of designing and building robust, scalable applications. • Technical Expertise: Strong grasp of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns. • Programming: Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python. • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle ambiguous or complex challenges. • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Cloud Familiarity: Experience with one or more major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
