Role Description The Senior Software Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and software platforms that power AI-driven fleet intelligence, smart tyre monitoring, and analytics products. The role includes writing clean, scalable, and testable code, implementing APIs, integrating data sources, and optimizing application performance and reliability. The engineer will participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and mentoring of junior team members, while collaborating closely with product, data, and operations teams. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting complex issues in production environments and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including API design, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience in data-driven or IoT-based products, especially in automotive or logistics domains, is an advantage.
