Position Name: Senior Software Developer

Role Summary:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications with a focus on backend development, cloud-native practices, and DevOps. Analyse complex business requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions while maintaining coding standards.
What Youll Do:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop and integrate services using Apache Camel for enterprise integration and messaging
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational database schemas, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions
- Design, develop, document, and maintain RESTful APIs
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps best practices
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent solutions
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Continuously improve development processes, coding standards, and engineering practices
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Strong experience with Java (Java 11 or higher), Spring Boot, and Apache Camel
- Experience in REST API development and integration
- Strong SQL knowledge, including schema design, normalization, stored procedures, and query optimization
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Visual Studio Code, GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot, and Git version control
- Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices
- Proven experience delivering enterprise software applications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience with Linux environments
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
- Knowledge of application security best practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
