Description As a Frontend Software Developer on Vena’s Product Development team, you will help build, maintain, and evolve the user-facing experiences that power our cloud-native SaaS platform. You will work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver performant, scalable, and intuitive interfaces used by thousands of customers. How You'll Make An Impact

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality front-end features and components in Vena product
• Contribute to and help maintain the team's design system, ensuring consistency and reusability across the product.
• Identify and resolve complex front-end bugs and performance issues in foundational systems.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback that raises the quality of the team's output.
• Design and build reusable, scalable UI components, while leveraging and contributing to existing design systems and component libraries.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to deliver cohesive, well-integrated features.
• Support modernization efforts of the frontend stack, adopting new tools, frameworks, and patterns where appropriate
• Upskill other team members and help those around you grow technically.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and engineering excellence
• Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence, continuously improving practices around front-end development, testing, and accessibility.
• Drive the adoption of AI-driven development practices and innovative tooling to enhance engineering productivity and accelerate high-quality software delivery.

We'd Love to See

• At least 5 years of experience in front end software development
• Hands-on experience developing custom Microsoft Power BI visuals using the Power BI Custom Visuals SDK.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Experience working with and maintaining a design system
• Comfort working in and contributing to large, established codebases
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end performance best practices
• Proven experience leading the design and evolution of micro-frontend (MFE) architectures and associated BFF layers, driving scalable, decoupled frontend systems and optimised data orchestration across services
• Prior experience in a Scrum / Agile environment
• Self-motivated and self-directed with a passion for building great user experiences
• Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Experience with front end testing frameworks such as Playwright (Storybook and Selenium a plus)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and how front end and back-end systems integrate
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience developing applications within the Microsoft technology ecosystem (e.g. Office/Excel add-ins, Power Platform)
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline and/or equivalent experience Base salary range 2,090,816 - 2,828,750 INR
