Senior Snowflake Data Engineer -Immediate Joiner

Role Overview

EXL is looking for a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, PySpark, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable data pipelines, integrating data from APIs, and working extensively with Snowflake as the primary database/data warehouse

.Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Work extensively with Snowflake as the primary database/data warehouse.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing.
• Fetch, ingest, and transform data from REST APIs and other external data sources.
• Build reliable data ingestion frameworks and integrate multiple data sources into Snowflake.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and quality checks.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, data models, and warehouse performance.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Follow engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, monitoring, and documentation.

Must-Have Skills

• relevant Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake; Snowflake should be the primary database/data warehouse.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
