Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network SME (L3) with deep expertise in Routing & Switching and Zscaler Internet Access (R+ Proxy) solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a technical authority, leading complex network designs, advanced troubleshooting, proxy/security integrations, and mentoring L2/L1 teams in a large enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Routing & Switching (L3)

• Design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise network infrastructures.
• Provide L3/L4 support for complex routing and switching issues.
• Strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS, route redistribution, and traffic engineering.
• Advanced configuration and troubleshooting of VLANs, STP/RSTP/MSTP, VTP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP.
• Manage enterprise-grade Cisco/Juniper/Arista network environments.
• Network performance tuning, capacity planning, and high availability design.

Zscaler (R+ Proxy)

• Architect, deploy, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).
• Strong understanding of R+ Proxy, PAC files, authentication methods, and traffic forwarding.
• Integrate Zscaler with firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs, and identity providers (AD, Azure AD).
• Policy creation, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Perform traffic flow analysis, log interpretation, and root cause analysis related to proxy issues.
• Support secure internet and cloud access transformation initiatives.

Operations & Leadership

• Act as SME for network and proxy-related escalations.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management.
• Drive network security best practices and compliance standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs.
• Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and security teams.
• Participate in change management, documentation, and audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Routing, Switching, and Enterprise Networking.
• Strong expertise in Zscaler Proxy (R+), ZIA, ZPA.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS.
• Experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco) is a strong plus.
• Exposure to SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet, Versa).
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working in 24x7 enterprise / global environments.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNP / CCIE (Routing & Switching or Enterprise)
• Zscaler Certified Administrator / Professional
