About this role
Responsibilities
- Own SLO definitions, error budget tracking, and reliability reviews for pod services
- Lead incident response and conduct blameless postmortems for P1/P2 events
- Define and maintain runbooks, escalation paths, and on-call rotations
- Drive toil identification, automation initiatives, and elimination targets
- Collaborate with development teams on production readiness reviews
- Mentor SRE Engineers on best practices, tools, and incident handling
- Manage on-call scheduling and ensure sustainable on-call health
Experience
- 8–10 years in SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure engineering
Required Skills
- Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, Prometheus/Grafana, CI/CD
- Strong incident management and postmortem facilitation experience
- Experience with alert routing tools — PagerDuty, OpsGenie
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash
