Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets across critical services.
• Own the on-call, escalation and incident-response program.
• Drive incident management, RCA, blameless postmortems and improvements to MTTD/MTTR.
• Own the reliability of an AWS EKS-based Kubernetes platform.
• Build and maintain GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD and Helm.
• Work extensively with Terraform/OpenTofu for Infrastructure as Code.
• Build observability across metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards and alerting.
• Develop automation using Python, Go or Shell.
• Partner with engineering teams to continuously improve production reliability and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of strong experience in SRE, Platform Engineering or DevOps.
• Production-grade expertise with Kubernetes, containers and AWS.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets and incident management.
• Strong observability experience with tools such as Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana or equivalents.
• Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, Go or Shell.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD/GitOps.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix, networking and cloud security fundamentals.
• Strong ownership and communication skills, particularly during high-pressure production incidents.

Good to Have:

• Experience with multi-region/multi-cluster Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Helm/Helmfile, OpenTofu, Vault, Cloudflare, developer platforms or internal reliability tooling would be an advantage.
• Experience in FinTech, payments or other regulated environments is also valuable.
