Role & responsibilities

Determining business needs and evaluati ng existi ng network infrastructure and systems.

Opti mizing network hardware and soft ware to enable VMware integrati on.

Developing and deploying customized VMware soluti ons.

Defi ning multi ple virtual servers on a single host machine.

Virtualizing Windows servers and connecti ng them to networks and clouds.

Designing and implementi ng virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and enabling template

management.

Installing operati ng systems and service packs, as well as security patches and bug fi xes.

Troubleshooti ng and resolving VMware environment issues.

Providing technical support and documenti ng VMware processes.

Keeping informed of developments in VMware technologies and products

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in computer science, informati on technology, computer programming, or

similar.

VMWare Certi fi ed Professional (VCP) preferred.

A minimum of 2

years experience

as a VMware engineer.

Profi ciency in VMware associated programs and coding languages, such as Windows Server,

MS IIS, SAN architecture, WebSphere, Citrix, Python, and C++.

Extensive knowledge of the fundamentals of VMware ESX and related technologies.

Excellent communicati on and collaborati on skills.

Excepti onal analyti cal and technical apti tude.

Great organizati onal, ti me management, and problem-solving skills.

Availability to resolve urgent VMware environment problems outside of business hours.
