Senior SEO / ASO / GEO Specialist

We are looking for a Senior SEO / ASO / GEO Specialist to own and scale our organic growth across SEO, ASO, GEO/AI Search and Local SEO.

Were looking for someone who can think strategically and execute hands-on from technical SEO and programmatic pages to app-store growth, Google Business Profile and visibility across AI search platforms.

Role & responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SEO strategy, technical SEO, on-page, off-page and content optimisation
• Drive programmatic SEO across service city car brand model and other high-intent combinations
• Manage technical aspects including crawlability, indexation, schema, canonicalisation, redirects, sitemaps, internal linking and Core Web Vitals
• Work hands-on with WordPress, static websites and basic HTML/CSS/JS
• Own ASO for Android & iOS, including keyword research, metadata, store listings, rankings and organic installs
• Build GoMechanic's visibility across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and emerging AI search platforms
• Drive Local SEO and Google Business Profile (GMB) optimisation across multiple locations
• Build organic authority through backlinks, digital PR, brand mentions and competitor analysis
• Use tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog and app analytics
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Content, Design, Analytics and Marketing teams

Preferred candidate profile

• 4-8 years of strong hands-on SEO experience
• Strong expertise in Technical SEO + On-page + Off-page SEO
• Proven experience in ASO and app organic growth
• Practical experience with GEO / AI Search optimisation
• Strong understanding of Programmatic SEO and Local SEO
• Experience with Google Business Profile / multi-location SEO is a plus
• Comfortable working directly with CMS and basic web technologies
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on traffic bookings revenue
• Experience in automotive, e-commerce, marketplace, consumer or local-services businesses is preferred
• Should be an individual contributor who can strategise and execute, not just manage an SEO agency
