Job Overview: We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and implement automated testing solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves building test frameworks, improving CI/CD pipelines, mentoring QA engineers, and collaborating closely with developers and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development + Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks. + Write automated tests for API, UI, integration, and performance testing. + Implement automation using languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Test Strategy & Planning + Define testing strategies for new features. + Ensure high test coverage across applications. + Identify test scenarios, edge cases, and failure points.
• CI/CD Integration + Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. + Enable continuous testing in build pipelines.
• Automation Tools + Develop automation using tools such as: - Selenium - Appium - Rest Assured - TestNG
• Performance & Reliability Testing + Create performance tests using tools like Apache JMeter. + Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks.
• Code Reviews & Best Practices + Review test automation code. + Promote best practices for maintainable and reliable tests.
• Collaboration + Work with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams. + Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Mentorship + Mentor junior QA and SDET engineers. + Guide teams on automation strategy and quality engineering practices.

• Strong coding skills in Java / Python / JavaScript
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Data structures and algorithms basics

Preferred Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in automation testing or SDET roles
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services
