Job Summary

The Senior School Incharge will assist the Principal in the academic and administrative management of Classes VI–XII, ensuring academic excellence, improved board results, effective curriculum implementation, teacher performance, student development, and smooth school operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in implementing academic policies, school initiatives, and improvement plans for the Senior School.
• Lead and monitor the academic functioning of Classes VI–XII as per CBSE guidelines, ensuring timely syllabus completion, lesson planning, and quality teaching-learning practices.
• Take responsibility for Class X and XII Board Examination results through regular monitoring, revision planning, remedial support, and result improvement strategies.
• Conduct assessments, pre-boards, and examinations; prepare detailed result analysis and implement corrective action plans.
• Supervise and mentor teachers through classroom observations, feedback, and academic reviews.
• Monitor lesson plans, academic records, and systematic checking of students’ notebooks/classwork to ensure quality evaluation and regular feedback.
• Monitor students’ academic progress, attendance, discipline, and overall development.
• Organize effective Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and maintain positive communication with parents.
• Work towards reducing Transfer Certificate (TC) cases through effective student and parent engagement and support.
• Support admission growth through parent counselling, academic promotion, and showcasing school achievements.
• Encourage participation in inter/intra school competitions, and competitive examination programmes.
• Guide and support preparation for competitive exams such as JEE (Main & Advanced) and NDA.
• Ensure compliance with CBSE norms, school policies, and academic standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's Degree in Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics, or relevant discipline with B.Ed. (Master's in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics preferred).
• Strong academic record with 8–10 years of experience in a reputed CBSE school, including academic leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience in improving board results, academic planning, result analysis, and teacher mentoring.
