Senior SAP WM / EWM Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP WM/EWM structures, including Storage Types, Bins, Activity Areas, and Work Centers.
• Support end-to-end inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes (Putaway, Picking, Replenishment, Physical Inventory).
• Configure RF-based warehouse operations, POSC/LOSC, Wave Management, and Production Supply Integration.
• Resolve functional incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and meet agreed SLAs.
• Prepare Functional Specifications for custom enhancements/reports and coordinate with ABAP developers.
• Manage testing phases (Unit, Integration, UAT), cutover tasks, and post-go-live support.
• Ensure seamless integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM modules.
• Document business processes, create SOPs, and provide end-user training.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 58 years of overall SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP WM and/or SAP EWM.
• Implementation background: Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout project across SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
• Module integration: Strong understanding of integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM, and TM modules.
• Technical & functional skills: Proficient in preparing functional specifications, coordinating with technical/ABAP teams, and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Domain & education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT, Business, or a related field. Experience in manufacturing, automotive, pharma, FMCG, retail, or logistics is preferred.
• Certifications (plus): SAP EWM / S/4HANA certification or exposure to S/4HANA migration projects is a plus.
