Senior SAP MM Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM/P2P Expert Consultant to design, implement, optimise, and support end-to-end SAP Procure-to-Pay solutions. The role requires strong expertise in SAP MM, P2P processes, S/4HANA, system integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and business process transformation. You will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, developers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions, resolve complex issues, support critical incidents, and drive continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP functional specifications.
• Design and implement end-to-end SAP MM/P2P processes.
• Configure and customise SAP MM functionality based on business requirements.
• Participate in SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and go-live activities.
• Configure and support Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Invoice Verification.
• Manage the complete P2P lifecycle: PR, PO, GR, Invoice Receipt, and Payment.
• Support Material Master, Vendor Master, and Purchasing Info Records.
• Handle 3-way matching, blocked invoices, exception handling, and invoice resolution.
• Integrate SAP MM with SAP FI/AP and vendor payment processes.
• Configure and troubleshoot PR/PO approval workflows.
• Work with IDoc/EDI interfaces for inbound and outbound integrations.
• Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot complex incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with technical teams and ABAP developers to resolve complex system issues.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Prepare test scripts, support defect resolution, and ensure successful deployments.
• Support change management, CAB processes, compliance, SOX, and audit requirements.
• Create and maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and training materials.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and key users.
• Monitor SAP processes proactively and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
• Support critical/high-impact incidents and act as an escalation point when required.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of SAP MM/P2P experience with strong business process knowledge.
• Strong expertise in SAP MM configuration and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Hands-on experience with: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification, Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
• Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt
• Vendor/Material Master Data
• 3-Way Matching
• Blocked Invoice Resolution
• Strong understanding of SAP MM-FI integration and Accounts Payable processes.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of IDoc/EDI integrations.
• Experience with PR/PO approval workflows.
• Understanding of ABAP and ability to work with ABAP developers for troubleshooting.
• Experience in testing, defect management, and production support.
• Knowledge of SOX/GRC, SAP authorisation concepts, roles, profiles, and access controls.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar incident/ticketing tools.
• Ability to create functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, and other technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with SAP Fiori procurement and invoice management applications.
• Knowledge of S/4HANA Central Procurement and advanced procurement capabilities.
• Experience integrating SAP ECC/S/4HANA with SAP Ariba Network.
• Experience with Vendor Portal/SRM integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, and SAP testing tools.
• Experience supporting SAP transformation, migration, upgrade, or rollout projects.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong end-to-end SAP MM/P2P process expertise.
• Ability to independently analyse business requirements and design SAP solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and drive issues to closure.
• Strong focus on business continuity, process improvement, and operational excellence.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment involving both project delivery and production support.
