Senior SAP BW/4HANA & Datasphere Consultant

Job Summary

SAP data and analytics professional to join our SAP Platform Data & Analytics team. Our current SAP data and analytics landscape is based on SAP BW/4HANA, while we are progressively building our future capabilities on SAP Datasphere. This role will work across both environments and help us operate today s platform while moving toward tomorrow s architecture.

We are looking for strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, or ideally both. Deep expertise in one of these technologies combined with the ability and willingness to develop rapidly in the other can be a strong fit.

What You Will Do

• As a Senior SAP BW/4HANA & Datasphere Consultant, you will work as part of a global team responsible for Kyndryl s SAP data and analytics landscape.
• This is a hands-on technical role. You will design and develop data solutions, analyze and resolve complex issues, implement changes, contribute to projects, and provide technical guidance to other team members and internal customers.
• You will work with both SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere as our landscape evolves from its current BW/4HANA foundation toward increased use of cloud-based data and analytics capabilities.
• Design, develop, enhance and support solutions in SAP BW/4HANA and/or SAP Datasphere.
• Translate business and data requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex data, performance and application issues.
• Participate in projects and technical design discussions across the SAP data and analytics landscape.
• Contribute to the evolution of our architecture from BW/4HANA toward SAP Datasphere.
• Provide technical guidance and share knowledge within the team.
• Maintain high-quality technical documentation and appropriate development and testing standards.
• Collaborate effectively with global technical teams, internal customers and other stakeholders.

Key Technologies

We are particularly interested in candidates who bring strong hands-on expertise in at least one of our two key technologies:

• SAP bw/4hana
• Strong hands-on experience specifically with SAP BW/4HANA, including solution design, development, configuration, troubleshooting and support.
• Important: Experience with SAP BW on HANA or older SAP BW releases such as BW 7.x does not substitute for hands-on BW/4HANA experience.
• And/or SAP Datasphere
• Strong hands-on experience designing and developing solutions with SAP Datasphere.
• You do not need to be an expert in both technologies from day one. We are open to two particularly relevant profiles:
• A strong SAP BW/4HANA expert with some Datasphere experience, or a clear motivation and ability to develop deep Datasphere expertise; or
• A strong SAP Datasphere expert whose BW/4HANA experience may be more limited.
• What is important is the ability to contribute to our current landscape while helping us progressively move toward a future in which SAP Datasphere will play an increasingly important role.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8+ years of Senior-level experience designing and implementing enterprise data and analytics solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex technical topics while collaborating effectively within a global team.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and implementations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is beneficial:

• SAP HANA development
• ABAP
• CDS Views
• SAP S/4HANA data integration
• Data modeling and integration across SAP and non-SAP sources
• Agile development methodologies
