Senior Sales Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers, generate leads and maintain an updated sales pipeline.
• Contact existing and prospective customers through calls, email, visits and other approved channels.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate internally for product specifications, availability, pricing and delivery commitments.
• Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, order confirmations and other approved sales documents.
• Follow up enquiries, quotations, pending purchase orders, dispatches, invoices and customer payments.
• Maintain customer master data, enquiry records, order status, sales registers and daily/weekly sales MIS.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Logistics, Accounts and other departments for order execution and customer commitments.
• Monitor customer complaints and coordinate corrective action and closure with concerned departments.
• Support customer visits, samples, trials, exhibitions and business-development activities as assigned.
• Ensure all commercial commitments, discounts, credit terms and special conditions are taken only with proper authorization.
• Maintain confidentiality of price lists, customer data, contracts and other commercial information.
• Submit accurate sales forecasts, follow-up status and exception reports to the Sales Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in Any Degree , Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant sales / customer coordination experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, email and ERP/SAP sales transactions preferred
