Senior Sales Executive

Key Role & Responsibility

• Generate new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Identify and approach shippers, exporters, importers and potential corporate clients.
• Handle Shipper Sales and develop a strong customer pipeline.
• Sell Ocean Freight and Air Freight solutions.
• Understand customer requirements for Import, Export and Third-Country Shipments.
• Generate leads through cold calling, networking, references and market research.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and regular follow-ups.
• Prepare quotations and negotiate freight rates/commercial terms with customers.
• Coordinate with operations and pricing teams for smooth shipment execution.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
• Maintain proper sales pipeline and customer follow-up records.
• Support customers with solutions involving Customs, Transportation and Warehousing.

Must-Have Requirements

• 2–3 years of Freight Forwarding Sales experience.
• Hands-on experience in Shipper Sales.
• Experience generating new business/revenue.
• Good understanding of Ocean Freight and Air Freight.
• Knowledge of Import and Export shipments.
• Strong client acquisition and relationship-management skills.
• Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
