Senior Sales Engineer Air Compressor and Compressed Air Solutions

Role & responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for CompKraft products.
• Develop new B2B customers in manufacturing and industrial sectors.
• Generate leads through cold calling, references, industrial visits and market development.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from enquiry generation to order closure.
• Promote and sell Screw Air Compressors, PM VFD Compressors, Air Dryers, Air Receivers, Line Filters and Compressed Air Piping.
• Conduct customer visits and understand compressed-air requirements.
• Prepare commercial quotations and negotiate pricing and payment terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industrial customers.
• Identify new markets, industries and business opportunities.
• Follow up on quotations and ensure timely conversion of enquiries into orders.
• Develop and manage dealers/channel partners where required.
• Coordinate with technical, service, operations and management teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor competitors, market prices and customer requirements.
• Maintain sales pipeline, customer records and regular reporting through CRM.
• Guide and support Sales Engineers to achieve team targets.
• Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
• Travel across Delhi NCR and other assigned territories as required

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or relevant engineering field preferred.
• 48 years of experience in B2B industrial sales.
• Experience in Screw Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Pneumatics, Industrial Machinery, Pumps, HVAC or Capital Equipment preferred.
• Strong experience in industrial customer handling and new business development.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Good knowledge of technical and commercial sales.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong customer relationship and follow-up skills.
• Ability to independently handle sales territory and generate new business.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industrial visits.
• Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
• Candidates with an existing industrial customer network in Delhi NCR / North India will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience in compressor sales or compressed-air solutions will have an advantage.
