- Develop internal risk policies; define and monitor risk appetite, KRIs, and thresholds; and produce risk dashboards and reports for senior management, the MLRO/Principal Officer, and the Board.
- Lead, mentor, and build the risk team into a high-performing second line, and drive risk and compliance training and awareness across the organisation.
- Manage operational, fraud, and third-party/banking-partner risk, including correspondent/nostro due diligence, and drive remediation of control gaps to closure.

- 8 to 12 years in enterprise / operational / financial crime risk within fintech, payments, banks, or NBFCs, including team leadership.
- Strong grasp of AML and cross-border payment typologies (layering, structuring), KYC/CDD/EDD, sanctions and PEP screening, and the PMLA landscape.
- Hands-on with transaction monitoring and case management systems (rule design, threshold calibration, alert-to-STR/CBWTR workflows); able to build risk frameworks and registers from first principles.
- CAMS certification desired.
- Strong analytical, data-analysis, communication, and project-management skills, with the ability to present complex risk clearly to senior stakeholders and the Board.
