Senior Resident - Obs & Gyn/ICU/Emergency Medicine/Anaesthesia

Patient Care and Clinical Duties

• Manage complex patient cases with increased independence under a consultant or attending physician.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures, surgeries, or emergency interventions depending on the specialty.
• Coordinate daily clinical workflow, assign tasks, and lead patient care rounds for the medical team.
• Issue formal medical certificates, treatment records, and medico-legal documents.

Supervision and Mentorship

• Supervise, guide, and evaluate junior residents and interns during daily hospital duties.
• Act as the primary point of contact for nursing staff, consultants, and allied health professionals.

A senior resident doctor will provide advanced patient care, supervises junior staff, and helps train medical students in the hospital.
