Senior Resident Doctor

Role & responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive medical care to mothers and children within MatCare..
• Supervise and guide junior medical staff in providing optimal healthcare services.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care for maternal and child health.
• Conduct regular patient assessments, diagnose illnesses, and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
• Oversee antenatal care, postnatal care, family planning services, and pediatric care.
• Participate in departmental meetings, case presentations, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated with latest medical research, guidelines, and practices in maternal and child healthcare.

Preferred candidate profile :

• Proficient in diagnosing and treating common maternal and child health conditions.
• Strong understanding of antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care protocols.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and medical imaging related to maternal and child health.
• Knowledge of family planning methods and counseling techniques.
• Competent in emergency obstetric and pediatric care.

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and pediatrics.

Experience working in a hospital setting with a focus on maternal and child health.
