Senior Resident - Anaesthesia

To provide anaesthesia services, perioperative care, and critical care support to patients while ensuring patient safety and quality clinical care.

• Provide anaesthesia services for elective and emergency surgical procedures under consultant supervision.

• Conduct pre-anaesthesia assessment and evaluate patients for surgical fitness.

• Monitor patients during anaesthesia and ensure safe recovery in the post-anaesthesia care unit.

• Manage airway emergencies and provide resuscitation when required.

• Assist in managing patients in ICU and other critical care areas, as per departmental requirements.

• Ensure proper documentation of anaesthesia records and patient treatment.

• Coordinate with surgeons, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth patient care.

• Follow hospital protocols for infection control, patient safety, and clinical documentation.

• Participate in emergency duties, shifts, and departmental academic activities as required.

• Sound clinical knowledge of anaesthesia and perioperative management.

• Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.
