This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Regulatory and Scientific Affairs Specialist based in United States.
This role supports regulatory operations, compliance, and scientific affairs across a portfolio of food, supplement, nutrition, and health-related products in the US market. You will serve as a trusted business partner, helping cross-functional teams navigate regulatory requirements, systems, and processes. The position combines regulatory expertise with project management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with Regulatory & Scientific Affairs, Quality, Procurement, Recipe Management, and global teams. Your work will help ensure ingredients, formulas, labeling, claims, and finished products meet applicable regulations and internal standards. Accountabilities: Act as a key business partner and subject-matter resource for regulatory operations, compliance systems, processes, internal audits, and related training.
Ensure compliance with applicable US regulations, third-party requirements, and internal policies by supporting effective systems and processes across cross-functional teams.
Partner with Regulatory & Scientific Affairs, Quality, Procurement, Recipe Management, and other stakeholders to support the regulatory compliance of raw materials, ingredients, formulas, and finished products.
Provide guidance on areas such as recipe compliance, labeling, claims substantiation, ingredient qualification, procurement, and internal auditing.
Identify, communicate, and escalate potential product, system, or process compliance concerns, while working collaboratively to develop practical solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen regulatory processes, systems, controls, and business compliance.
Collaborate with global teams and international markets on products manufactured at US-based facilities and support regulatory considerations related to exports.
Manage projects of moderate to high complexity, balancing priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and business requirements.
Contribute to the planning, implementation, and improvement of regulatory systems and processes, including relevant enterprise platforms.
Participate in national travel and occasional in-person team meetings as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
At least 4 years of experience working within a food, dietary supplement, nutrition, or related regulatory environment.
Solid understanding of US regulatory requirements and compliance considerations relevant to food, supplement, nutrition, or health-related products.
Experience supporting cross-functional regulatory activities involving ingredients, formulas, finished products, labeling, claims, or related compliance processes.
Strong project planning and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and moderately to highly complex initiatives.
Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to identify issues, communicate risks, and develop actionable solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical, business, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience with SAP, ContentHub, Veeva, or similar regulatory and enterprise systems is a plus.
An MBA, MSc, Registered Dietitian credential, or another relevant advanced qualification is preferred.
Comfortable collaborating with global teams and working across different functions, markets, and organizational levels.
Willingness and availability to travel nationally and attend occasional in-person team meetings.

Approximate annual base salary range of $85,000–$110,000 , depending on factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
