Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Resident in Interventional & Endovascular Radiology to join our Radiology Department. The candidate will assist in and perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under appropriate supervision, while providing quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist consultants in performing interventional and endovascular radiology procedures.

• Participate in procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, thrombectomy, drainage procedures, and image-guided biopsies.

• Assist in pre-procedure evaluation, patient preparation, informed consent, and post-procedure monitoring.

• Interpret CT, MRI, ultrasound, Doppler, and angiographic imaging as required.

• Monitor patients during and after procedures and promptly identify potential complications.

• Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes, and clinical documentation.

• Coordinate with consultants, surgeons, physicians, anesthetists, and other clinical departments.

• Follow radiation-safety, infection-control, and hospital protocols.

• Participate in emergency procedures and on-call duties as required.

• Support departmental teaching, case discussions, academic activities, and clinical audits.

• Ensure timely and compassionate communication with patients and their relatives.
