Senior Registrar/Junior Consultant- Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care

Role & responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill pediatric cardiac patients.
• Provide peri-operative care for congenital and acquired heart disease patients undergoing cardiac surgery.
• Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, inotropic support, ECMO, VAD, and other advanced life-support therapies.
• Interpret hemodynamic monitoring, echocardiography findings, laboratory investigations, and imaging studies.
• Lead emergency resuscitation and code blue responses within the PCICU.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate safe patient transfers and referrals when required.

Preferred candidate profile

• MD / DNB Pediatrics
• DM / DrNB Pediatric Critical Care Medicine or
• DM / DrNB Pediatric Cardiology with exposure to Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care or
• Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care / Pediatric Critical Care preferred
• Valid State Medical Council Registration
