Senior Recruiter - Healthcare

Key Responsibilities

• Understand assigned healthcare requisitions in detail, including specialty, facility/location, shift, schedule, required experience, licenses, certifications, compliance requirements, start date, and customer-specific submission criteria
• Recruit for Nursing and Allied Healthcare roles such as Registered Nurses (RN), LPN/LVN, CNA, Medical Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, CT/MRI Technologists, Radiology/X-Ray Technologists, and other clinical or allied positions
• Source candidates through the internal ATS/database, job boards, healthcare platforms such as Vivian and Indeed, referrals, social media, networking, web searches, and other approved sourcing channels
• Create and maintain accurate job advertisements and sourcing campaigns aligned with the approved job details and compliance requirements
• Conduct preliminary candidate screening to assess clinical experience, specialty fit, work history, location preference, availability, shift flexibility, licenses/certifications, communication, compensation expectations, and overall job fit
• Work through hourly rates, taxable compensation and applicable per-diem components to explain and structure pay packages accurately within approved customer and company guidelines
• Negotiate rates and obtain candidate commitment while ensuring the candidate clearly understands the assignment, location, schedule, compensation, duration, and onboarding expectations
• Collect and validate required submission documents, which may include licenses, certifications, references, work history, identification/authorization details and other customer-specific credentials
• Prepare complete, accurate and compliant submission packages and submit qualified candidates to the Account Manager / designated next-level reviewer within expected turnaround times
• Maintain candidate relationships after submission; provide updates, confirm continued interest and availability, prepare candidates for interviews, and reduce avoidable dropouts or fall-offs
• Coordinate closely with Account Managers, onboarding, credentialing and other support teams to enable interviews, offers, documentation and successful starts
• Maintain accurate and timely ATS records for calls, sourcing activity, candidate status, submissions, follow-ups and disposition reasons
• Manage multiple open requirements and prioritize work based on customer urgency, aging, probability of closure, specialty, geography and available candidate supply
• Follow recruitment SOPs, customer-specific guidelines, quality controls, documentation standards, data privacy requirements and applicable employment/compliance practices
• Review new and priority jobs; identify must-have requirements and create a daily sourcing plan
• Source, call, text/email and engage prospective healthcare professionals across approved channels
• Screen interested candidates and document qualification, availability, compensation and credential status
• Build pay packages and resolve candidate questions before submission
• Follow up on previously submitted candidates, interviews, offers, pending documents and onboarding actions
• Update ATS records and maintain an active pipeline for recurring specialties and locations
• Review daily productivity and conversion indicators and adjust sourcing priorities where required
