Job Title: Field Collections Executive / Field Collection Officer

Role Purpose: Responsible for collecting overdue payments from customers, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring recovery targets are achieved while following company policies and legal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customers at their residences, offices, or business locations to collect overdue payments.
• Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment commitments.
• Negotiate repayment plans for delinquent accounts.
• Verify customer information and update records in collection systems.
• Maintain accurate reports of collection activities and daily visits.
• Escalate difficult or high-risk cases to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical collection practices.
• Meet monthly collection and recovery targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as credit, operations, and customer service.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle difficult customer situations professionally.
• Basic knowledge of collections, recovery, and financial products.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with mobile applications or collection management systems.
• Time management and route-planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in collections, recovery, banking, NBFC, microfinance, or financial services is advantageous.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned areas.
