Senior Rebar Detailer

Responsibilities

• Independently review rebar shop/placement drawings prepared by detailers.
• Check bar sizes, quantities, spacing, lengths, laps, hooks, bends and placement.
• Verify drawings against structural drawings, specifications and revisions.
• Check BBS/bar lists before release.
• Verify compliance with ACI, CRSI, ASTM and client standards.
• Identify constructability issues, discrepancies and potential fabrication errors.
• Review and coordinate RFIs.
• Track recurring errors and coach junior/mid-level detailers.
• Maintain QA/QC checklists and documentation.
• Support U.S. project teams in resolving technical questions.
• Ensure drawings meet agreed quality and turnaround KPIs.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of dedicated rebar detailing/checking.
• Significant U.S./North American project experience.
• Advanced AutoCAD/RebarCAD skills.
• Strong knowledge of CRSI/ACI detailing practices.
• Ability to independently check another detailer's work.
• Experience communicating with U.S. clients/project teams.
