We are looking for an experienced Senior R Developer to join our team and support exciting projects in data science. You will work on the project, which provides data-driven decision support to optimize bidding prices for tenders. Your expertise in R and R Shiny will be essential in developing and deploying a tool that enables businesses to calculate the best price decrease and winning probability. - Developing and maintaining R applications, focusing on Shiny for data visualization and user interaction
- Implementing machine learning models to support data-driven decision-making for tender projects
- Collaborating with research scientists to gather requirements and ensure the application meets business needs
- Writing clear, maintainable code and following best practices for R package development
- Conducting data exploration and modeling to derive insights from complex datasets
- Utilizing version control systems like Git for project management and collaboration
- Documenting processes and code to ensure transparency and ease of maintenance
- Staying updated with the latest developments in R and related technologies to enhance project outcomes
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R programming with a strong focus on R Shiny development
- Proficiency in using R packages for data manipulation and visualization, such as dplyr, ggplot2, and plotly
- Familiarity with modern R frameworks like tidyverse and data.table
- Expertise in data exploration and modeling techniques
- Working knowledge of Git for version control, Docker, and AWS
- A degree in bioinformatics, biology, computer science, or a related field
- Basic shell scripting skills
- Fluent English and residency in Poland
