About this role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with 10-12 years of relevant experience in real estate and construction, preferably with strong exposure to high-rise residential and commercial projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity surveying, cost control, billing, contracts, tendering and overall commercial management of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, estimates and rate analysis.
- Manage tendering, contractor evaluation, negotiations and work orders.
- Verify and certify RA bills, measurements and final accounts.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments and cost forecasts.
- Evaluate variations, additional works and contractor claims.
- Review drawings and assess the commercial impact of design changes.
- Coordinate with Project, Planning, Design, Procurement, Finance and Site teams.
- Maintain accurate commercial records and prepare cost/commercial reports.
- Support contract administration and commercial closure of projects.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management.
- 10-12 years of relevant experience in real estate/construction.
- Experience with high-rise residential/commercial projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, estimation, billing, cost control, contracts and variations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and contractor management skills.
- Experience working with developers/contractors and managing project commercials.
