About this role
- Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and company quality procedures.
- Prepare, review and control QMS documents, procedures, work instructions and formats.
- Maintain proper control of documents and records.
- Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate audit schedules.
- Identify audit non-conformities and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external auditors for certification and surveillance audits.
- Monitor NCR, CAPA and corrective action activities.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality issues.
- Monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance and other departments for QMS implementation.
- Monitor process compliance through regular shop-floor audits.
- Ensure quality procedures and work instructions are followed at all process stages.
- Prepare and monitor quality objectives and KPIs.
- Analyse quality data, rejection, rework, defects and customer complaints.
- Prepare monthly quality reports and management review inputs.
- Coordinate Management Review Meeting (MRM) activities related to QMS.
- Monitor customer complaints and coordinate timely resolution.
- Support implementation of 8D, RCA, CAPA and continuous improvement activities.
- Identify process gaps and recommend quality improvement actions.
- Maintain risk and opportunity assessments and follow up on mitigation actions.
- Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct awareness and training programs on quality systems and procedures.
- Maintain training and competency records related to quality requirements.
- Ensure calibration and control of monitoring and measuring equipment.
- Monitor supplier quality issues and coordinate corrective actions where applicable.
- Ensure traceability and proper maintenance of quality records.
- Support new product/process development from a QMS perspective.
- Monitor process and product quality trends and initiate improvement actions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable customer-specific and statutory requirements.
- Prepare quality documentation for customer and third-party audits.
- Maintain QMS records and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Guide and supervise Quality Engineers, Inspectors and other QMS team members.
- Report major quality issues, risks and improvement opportunities to the Quality Manager/Head.
- Perform other quality and QMS-related responsibilities assigned by management.
