Designation: Senior Engineer

Location: Karur, Tamilnadu.

Reporting to: Deputy Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the inspection test plan is followed for Incoming / in-process/ assembly / final stages during the manufacturing
• Verify the final inspection records before release to check the customer specific requirements and drawing specifications are met
• Analysis the daily rejections/ rework and take corrective actions with production.
• Assigning daily tasks to quality operators and monitor the work as per plan
• Validation of special processes at defined interval
• Executing internal audits as per audit plan for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and upkeep all documents required for the management system.
• Maintain documents and records as per IMS requirements.
• Ensure BIS compliance for applicable products and processes.
• Assisting to Management Representative for conducting management review, preparing audit plan, coordinate with external audits and closure of actions related to the above.
• Prepare inspection reports, test reports and submission of the same to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare control plan for existing and new products to meet the product and process requirements in all stage of manufacturing.
• Conduct supplier audits and monitor supplier quality performance.
• Handle customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and submit 8D reports.
• Training to employees in 5S, Customer compliant, 7QC tools.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS FUNCTIONAL

• Educational Qualification & Experience: Degree in Mechanical engineering/Industrial engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Manufacturing Companies.
• Experience in Customer Quality and handling issues/complaints related to quality a customer end (at customer line as well as in the field).
• Knowledge in inspection techniques, gauges, MSA,PPAP,SPC,APQP
• Knows quality tools and techniques and has the good knowledge of addressing emerging issues with at most speed and efficiency
• Audit skills (Product, Process & Quality System), Preferably Lead Auditor/ Internal Auditor certified in ISO 9001/ISO45001/ISO14001
• Basic Computer skills - MS Office, Presentation skills
