Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced

Senior QA Engineer (QA Lead) to lead quality assurance efforts across our products. The ideal candidate will drive QA strategy, mentor QA team members, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, reliable software through strong testing practices and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead and own the QA strategy, processes, and best practices across projects • Plan, design, and execute manual and automated test cases • Review requirements, user stories, and technical designs to ensure testability • Manage and mentor QA engineers, providing guidance and performance feedback • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams • Identify, track, and report defects; ensure timely resolution • Drive test automation initiatives and framework improvements • Ensure quality standards are met for releases (functional, regression, performance, and security testing) • Continuously improve QA processes and tools

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance • Strong experience in manual and automated testing • Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium) • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies • Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Performance and security testing exposure • Experience testing cloud-based or microservices architectures • ISTQB or other QA certifications
