Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at A FinTech Company

Responsibilities

• Create test cases and define acceptance criteria with product and development teams.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and basic performance testing.
• Use basic automation to reduce repetitive testing tasks.
• Perform database testing using SQL.
• Test web, mobile, and database applications.
• Identify, report, and track bugs until resolution.
• Improve testing processes and follow QA best practices.
• Investigate production issues and support software releases.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Good knowledge of QA processes, test planning, and defect tracking.
• Experience with API testing tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in a product-based company or e-commerce domain is a plus.
