About the Role We need a QA Automation Engineer who can own our test strategy across a multi-service architecture. You'll work across an Angular frontend, Express BFF layers, and NestJS microservices -- all deployed on AWS EKS via Jenkins and GitHub Actions. This isn't a greenfield role. We already have Jest, Playwright, and Supertest foundations in place, along with SonarQube coverage gates and Trivy security scans in CI. You'll scale what exists, fill the gaps, and embed quality into every PR. This is a hybrid role, and we're looking for self-driven professionals with 5-7 years of experience, based in Ahmedabad.

What You'll Do • Expand and maintain end-to-end test suites using Playwright across our Angular portal • Build robust API test coverage for NestJS and Express services using Jest and Supertest • Define and enforce coverage thresholds, working with SonarQube and Codacy quality gates • Integrate test automation into Jenkins and GitHub Actions pipelines • Introduce contract testing between BFF and backend API layers • Collaborate with developers to write testable code and establish testing best practices • Champion test reliability

What You Bring • 5+ years in QA automation or SDET roles • Hands-on experience with Jest, Playwright, and REST API testing • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions) • Comfort with Docker and containerized test execution • Understanding of microservices architecture and how to test across service boundaries • Bonus: Angular component testing, Kubernetes, performance testing (k6/Artillery), SonarQube
