Job Description – Junior/Senior Automation Engineer (Playwright + C#)

Role Overview We are looking for a Junior/Senior Automation Engineer with strong experience in Playwright automation using C# to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications. The candidate will work closely with QA, development, and business teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

Playwright with C#.

• Develop and enhance automation frameworks based on project needs.
• Automate functional, regression, and smoke test suites for web applications.
• Perform end-to-end testing across UI and API layers wherever required.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Analyze test failures, debug issues, and ensure stable automation execution.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Maintain test execution reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and support Agile delivery processes.
• Ensure best practices are followed for coding standards, reusability, and maintainability. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent.
• Junior Engineer: 2–4 years of experience in automation testing.
• Senior Engineer: 5–8+ years of experience in automation testing with leadership exposure.
