Job Summary

Techgene Solutions Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8 – 15 years of strong experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both Automation and JavaScript. This is not a role where JavaScript is only used at a basic level the candidate should be comfortable developing, maintaining, and enhancing automation frameworks using JavaScript.

The candidate will also be expected to demonstrate leadership capabilities, strong API testing experience, AWS knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and automation scripts.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript-based test automation.
• Develop and execute automated test cases using JavaScript and relevant automation frameworks/tools.
• Work extensively with Mocha and Chai for test automation and assertions.
• Perform API testing and validation, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, troubleshoot failures, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• Participate actively in technical discussions, project meetings, sprint ceremonies, and client calls.
• Take ownership of QA activities and contribute to improving automation coverage, quality, and testing processes.
• Work with AWS environments/services and understand testing considerations for cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Communicate testing status, issues, risks, and technical challenges effectively to internal and client-facing teams.
