Senior QA QC Engineer

Role & responsibilities :

• Implement and maintain QA/QC standards for raw materials and mechanical systems in fired heater projects.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test procedures, quality records, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for quality plans, documentation, inspections, and audits.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and troubleshoot system issues.
• Identify project risks and implement appropriate safety and quality control measures.
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices for reliability, efficiency, and safety.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical items, raw materials, applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, NACE).
• Hands-on experience in inspection and testing of raw materials and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.
• Good communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• ISO 9001 / Quality Management certification is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessment methodologies is desirable.
• NDT level RTFI, PT, MPT, UT & VT with through knowledge.
