Senior QA Engineer

Krimatix is a product company building enterprise software for industrial clients in the US.

⚠️ This role is for Senior QA Automation Engineers only. Minimum 5 years and maximum 7 years of hands-on QA automation experience is mandatory. Freshers, manual-only testers, and candidates below 5 years need not apply. We are looking for an SDET who owns quality end to end, not someone who runs test cases written by others. You will define the test strategy, build the automation framework, and make sure nothing breaks in production without being caught first. Our platform is metadata-driven — every form, workflow, validation, and permission is generated from configuration. Testing here is not straightforward. You need to think beyond scripted tests and catch what automation alone cannot. What you will own: → End-to-end test strategy, test plans, risk-based coverage, entry and exit criteria for every release → Manual and exploratory testing for complex workflows, edge cases, and configuration-driven behavior → UI and API automation using Playwright with TypeScript — built to last, not just to pass → Consumer-driven contract testing using Pact JS with a broker integrated into CI → API schema validation using OpenAPI and AJV — catching silent schema drift before it reaches production → Performance and load testing using k6 with CI thresholds that block deployment on breach → Security scanning using OWASP ZAP baseline integrated into the pipeline → Accessibility automation using axe-core embedded into Playwright flows → CI/CD quality gates on Azure DevOps — your test suite blocks deployment, not just reports results → RBAC and multi-tenant boundary testing — authorization negative scenarios and tenant data isolation You must have: ✔ 5–7 years of QA automation experience in a product-based or SaaS company — mandatory ✔ Hands-on Playwright automation in TypeScript — UI and API layer, in production CI pipelines ✔ Real experience with Pact JS contract testing — not just awareness of the concept ✔ k6 performance testing with CI threshold gates — built and run yourself, not observed ✔ OpenAPI schema validation and AJV in automated pipelines ✔ Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline ownership — your pipelines, your quality gates ✔ Strong manual testing and test design skills — you write test plans, not just test cases ✔ Experience testing metadata-driven, configurable, or rules-engine-based platforms is a strong advantage Our automation stack: Playwright · TypeScript · Node.js · Pact JS · k6 · OWASP ZAP · axe-core · MSW · AJV · Azure DevOps · Docker · Git Work details: 📍 Hyderabad — Work from Office 🕑 US Project hours 🌐 krimatix.com If you meet the above criteria, apply now or send us your resume to zaki@krimatix.com
