Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python-based test automation, Linux environments, and CI/CD pipeline integration using Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using Python.
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and validate application functionality.
• Develop and maintain automated testing pipelines integrated with Jenkins.
• Execute testing activities in Linux-based environments and troubleshoot environment-related issues.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall software quality.
• Participate in release validation, production verification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and quality metrics.

Required Skills

• 6-9 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Strong programming experience in Python for test automation.
• Hands-on experience working with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience configuring and maintaining Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in API testing and automation.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation frameworks such as PyTest.
• Experience testing REST APIs and microservices.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
