Senior Qa Engineer / QA Lead

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality feedback.
• Execute automated test cases using no-code/low-code automation tools.
• Contribute to automation initiatives using TesQuirel's Breez platform.
• Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure software releases meet quality standards and business expectations.
• Lead a team of QA Engineers to deliver comprehensive STLC experience to clients
• Take ownership and accountability of delivery for assigned projects
• Ensure deliverables and reporting is adhered according to time lines

Required Skills

Manual Testing

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of Test Case Design Techniques.
• Defect Management and Reporting.
• Functional and Regression Testing.
• Test Planning and Execution.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of SQL and database
• Understanding of Web. mobile Applications and APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools.

Automation Skills (Desired, but not mandatory)

• Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar automation tools.
• Basic knowledge of automation concepts and frameworks.
• Interest in AI-driven and no-script test automation.

Leadership Skills (Mandatory for Lead position)

• Ability to manage team and take responsibility of deliverables
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Take Ownership of deliverables and be Accountable for actions

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA/BCA or equivalent qualification.
• 1-5 years of experience in Software Testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Passion for Quality Engineering and Automation.
• Experience working in Agile projects is an advantage.
