Senior QA Engineer - Digital Commerce

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for Shopify and eCommerce solutions.
• Validate storefront journeys including product discovery, catalogue, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, payments, and order flows.
• Test integrations between Shopify and connected enterprise, fulfilment, product, content, and customer systems.
• Review requirements and acceptance criteria, identify quality risks, and provide clear defect reports with supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with developers and delivery teams during refinement, sprint execution, defect triage, release validation, and production support.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 9 years of experience in quality assurance, eCommerce testing, digital commerce delivery, or a related technology role.
• Hands-on experience in eCommerce development and quality assurance for web-based commerce platforms.
• Practical experience testing Shopify storefronts, configurations, themes, applications, and customer-facing commerce capabilities.
• Strong understanding of quality engineering practices, test planning, defect lifecycle management, and release validation.
• Experience validating APIs, integrations, responsive web experiences, data flows, and end-to-end commerce transactions.

Good to Have:

• Experience using Jira for test coordination, defect tracking, and delivery collaboration.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
