Senior QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality banking applications and driving quality engineering best practices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in

Banking Domain Testing ,

Defect Management , and a good understanding of

Agile/Scrum delivery models . Exposure to

AI-driven testing and automation practices will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for banking applications.
• Perform Functional, Integration, API, System, and Regression Testing.
• Own the complete defect lifecycle, including defect logging, triage, root cause analysis, tracking, and closure.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Scrum teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Drive quality metrics, release readiness assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support test automation efforts and identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency using AI-powered tools and modern QA practices.

Required Skills 6+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience Strong Banking Domain experience (Retail Banking, Payments, Cards, Lending, Digital Banking, Core Banking) Proven expertise in Defect Management and Quality Governance Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, API, and Regression Testing Strong knowledge of Agile & Scrum methodologies Experience with JIRA, SQL, and Test Management tools Excellent analytical, debugging, and stakeholder management skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills ✔ Experience in Automation Testing (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, etc.) ✔ Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps ✔ Understanding of AI-assisted testing, GenAI tools, test optimization, and intelligent quality engineering practices ✔ Banking/FinTech project experience in enterprise environments
