Senior Qa Engineer - (AI + Playwright)

About the Role

Client is looking for a strong, independent test engineer to take full ownership of driving quality engineering across multiple project streams. The primary focus is to rapidly scale test automation coverage across all modules/projects, drive technical QA practices, and design and incorporate AI into testing strategies, solutions, and quality processes to meet ambitious target timelines.

Responsibilities

• Writing, executing, and maintaining automated tests for both UI and REST API.
• Architecting and designing E2E test automation frameworks across multiple projects, including building or significantly redesigning existing frameworks.
• Performing manual test execution and exploratory testing.
• Conducting code and PR reviews for quality engineering deliverables.
• Conducting single-user performance testing and analyzing bottlenecks.
• Incorporating AI-driven practices into testing strategies, solutions, workflows, and quality processes.
• Integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identifying technical risks, raising flags, and proposing actions..

Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in both UI and API test automation (Playwright / TS).
• Strong automation architecture and framework design experience from scratch.
• Proven hands-on AI testing experience and practical application of AI into testing strategies (candidates who have simply used AI-assisted coding tools like Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT will be NOT considered).
• Proven experience leading QA automation across multiple projects/modules.
• Solid understanding of single-user performance analysis (browser dev tools, network profiling, identifying execution bottlenecks).
• Strong code review capabilities and strict adherence to coding standard.

Nice to Have

• Experience with mobile application testing and mobile test automation.
• Experience integrating test runs into CI/CD pipelines.
