We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in UI and API automation, framework development, and programming. The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Playwright using JavaScript and Selenium using Java, along with the ability to develop reusable automation frameworks, troubleshoot complex issues, and independently drive automation activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain UI and API automation tests.
- Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Analyze requirements and user workflows to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Integrate and execute automation suites through CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Independently manage automation activities, identify risks and impediments, and drive tasks to completion.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, reliability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.
- Collaborate with QA, development, product, and other stakeholders in an Agile environment.
- Follow automation best practices and provide technical guidance to team members when required.
Required Skills
- 7 8 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and JavaScript.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium and Java.
- Good understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including functions, arrays, objects, promises, async/await, and exception handling.
- Strong Java programming knowledge, including OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, and debugging.
- Experience developing and maintaining reusable UI automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in API testing and API automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, QA methodologies, and test design techniques.
- Experience in test case design, test execution, regression testing, and defect management.
- Good understanding of automation framework design, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze automation failures, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good to Have
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Docker and containerized test execution.
- Experience with SQL and backend data validation.
- Exposure to AI-assisted test automation.
