Senior Python Developer

Role & responsibilities :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support scalable Python applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong Python fundamentals, problem-solving skills, testing expertise, and good exposure to deployment and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications, APIs, automation tools, and data-processing solutions.
• Write clean, modular, reusable, and testable Python code.
• Work with file handling, JSON, data structures, algorithms, CLI utilities, and data processing.
• Apply OOP, decorators, generators, iterators, context managers, and exception handling effectively.
• Develop solutions using multithreading, multiprocessing, and asynchronous programming where required.
• Write unit/integration tests and maintain code quality and coverage.
• Debug complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support production deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD, Git, Docker, and release activities.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Product, and engineering teams.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Python development experience (6-8 years).
• Excellent knowledge of Python, OOP, data structures, exception handling, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, logging, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, Git, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Understanding of production deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident handling.
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education: Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
