Senior Proposal Writer

Compass Group is looking for a Senior Proposal Writer with strong technical writing and proposal development expertise to drive high-quality B2B bids and RFP responses.

What youll do:

• Own end-to-end proposal development — RFP analysis, bid strategy, content, review & submission.
• Develop technical, commercial and solution-focused content, executive summaries and presentations.
• Translate complex technical/operational inputs into clear, compelling client propositions.
• Identify key requirements, win themes and differentiators through research and analysis.
• Partner with Sales, Solutions, Operations and senior stakeholders to build tailored responses.
• Ensure proposals are accurate, compliant, compelling and delivered within timelines.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years in Proposal/Bid Management, Technical Writing, Business Development or Content Development.
• Strong experience with RFPs, RFIs, tenders and B2B proposals.
• Strong technical understanding + business acumen + storytelling skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, research, editing and presentation skills.
• Experience in Food Services, Facilities Management, Hospitality, Consulting or other B2B solution-led industries is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word & PowerPoint; proposal/design tools are an advantage.
