Senior Project Manager - FinOps

As a FinOps Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate the implementation and rollout of the FinOps Target Operating Model (TOM), ensuring that processes, tools, and governance are successfully adopted across the organization. You will play a key role in driving cloud financial management best practices and supporting the organization's strategic transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the FinOps TOM implementation as a structured program/project.
• Coordinate workstreams, including tooling, processes, governance, and training, while tracking progress.
• Align with stakeholders across IT, Finance, Procurement, Security, and business units.
• Ensure FinOps processes such as allocation, showback/chargeback, optimization workflows, budgeting, and forecasting are implemented and documented.
• Support the selection, implementation, and rollout of FinOps tools and integrations.
• Organize and track training, communication, and change management activities.
• Monitor implementation risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive mitigation actions.
• Report status, milestones, and outcomes to FinOps leadership and governance bodies.

Requirements:

• Strong project or program management experience.
• Solid PowerPoint skills with the ability to create structured storylines and clear executive-level presentations.
• Experience with cloud initiatives, cloud transformation, or FinOps programs is a strong advantage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
• Experience working with governance frameworks, budgeting, forecasting, and process implementation.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; German is an advantage.
