Senior Project Engineer - Discrete - Ahmedabad

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and commission automated material handling systems for industrial equipment manufacturing using Siemens PLC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate conveyor systems into engine assembly lines for efficient production flow.
• Troubleshoot issues related to ASRS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems) and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during factory automation projects by conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.

Job Requirements :

• 3-8 years of experience in factory automation engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of conveyors, engine assembly line processes, and material handling systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Siemens PLC for designing custom control logic.
